In photo #1 meet the EC Team. This team was made up with 14 young ladies with their leader Kitty Ravert. In this photo stuck in the back is Director Freddy and his assistant Director of the Junior/Senior Highs school. Hard work is a part of their vocabulary. These young ladies always impress us and our construction team. When they arrived we gave them the grand tour. As they looked their eyes kept getting bigger and bigger. But they would not say anything.

About the 4th day into the construction they started to ask if they were going to be able to prime and paint the entire building. I smiled and said if you don’t we will finish it after you go for the inauguration. In my heart I knew they would accomplish this very high and difficult task. When the 2016 year began for our construction team they had the arduous task of plastering the entire building including the hallway on the 2nd floor as seen in the 2nd and 3rd photos. Plastering this building took our guys 2 months of work just to get to the point of being ready to paint by our EC team.

The issue for our team was how in the world are they going to hit all these high places to cut in and roll let alone the tight spaces and obstacles they faced. In reality this is exactly what they need. Why, because in their lives they were confronting the same issues. They high, tight places with lots of obstacles and they needed to know more about God and His will for their lives. We can look at this way; Faith is our foundation while obedience is the roof. It was something they had to learn.

The 5th photo shows Sarah and Hanna painting the high places. These young ladies worked very hard in taking on the tight areas. By the end of the week they as a group changed emotionally and spiritually. Also they realized they were going to finish and also have the opportunity to start priming the existing building that has classrooms.

While this was going on our welder made the steel doors, windows, handrail for the stairs, and also a roof to go over the stairs as well. It was all hands on deck because they school was feeling the pinch from all the construction. Plus we had started on digging the hole for the 2nd phase of construction. (3 more classrooms) The 6th photo shows the completion of classrooms.

In the 7th photo is the team organizing clothing for handing out to the poor people of Comayagua. Our teams experience a very full schedule. If you like to keep busy this is the place for you. Our teams not only do construction, but inter act with the students, work one day in Comayagua the “squatters Project”, and also meet with the sponsored children. The majority of girls sponsor a child. This is a huge sacrifice in knowing how much College costs. The last photo on the bottom left is one thing I wanted to show in much fun we really have. This was ever day for us. Pure joy and laughter. Thank you EC Team!!
