Even though school was out of session for Holy Week the girls seemed to have fun in making ¼’’ rebar rings that are hand bent. Then taking the ¼’’ rings they are hand tied with flexible tie wire to 4- ½’’ rebar and 2- 3/8’’ rebar to make the steel cages that you see in the last photo. How many cages did they make? They made 14 steel rebar cages that are 19 feet long. They were used in the newly fresh cut holes in the existing walls to form new columns. The girls would sing all day long and we would have water fights as well. It was a time for the girls to get to know each and to get to know us and the ministry. It was seed planting time for us in making new friends for life. It is always a blessing to see and hear Pastor Giron, and Juan de Dios jump in singing a song that the girls were singing in English while they would sing in Spanish.

During these times of work the Holy Spirit would manifest itself and bring in blessings to the girls and to the workers. It is an amazing feeling to have the presence of Jesus come upon us and fill us with unexplainable feelings and love. The days never felt long because it was a joy to go to the school to see what would be next in the team’s growth spiritually.
